water pipes

Looking at a new inlet manifold and I was asked by the supplier where the water pipes connect on the TVR has anyone any idea where he means on the V8?

Depends which of the many variants you are talking about. If you mean on your car, the best way to find out is to go and look at it. If you aren't sure what he's actually asking you for (I'm not clear which of the pipes he's talking about tbh) then ask him to clarify.

Big problem the car is in uk and i am in Dubai, so unable to see, just thought all V8s would be alike.

They're all basically similar but the details matter. There are lots of different arrangements of tappings for the coolant temp sender(s), most have a spigot pressed in to feed the throttle body heater (but not all do), the water jacket has a front outlet to the bypass on the pre-serpentine version but sometimes the rear outlet to the cabin heater isn't drilled out, on the serpentine system the bypass is arranged differently and some installations dont actually have a bypass (which is a bit but there you go). The person asking the question presumably has some specific issue in mind, so I suggest you ask him how to tell the difference (that he is looking for) and then get somebody to look at your actual car.

I wanted to buy a manifold that were already ported and gas flowed, but have decided to just get my own inlet manifold done. Would you recomend anywhere for the job?
