Black Diablo spotted east London
Discussion
Just to clarify the above post, I became the proud owner of a Diablo VT on Friday.....
... on getting it home, before I even tried to reverse into the garage, I had to get a tape measure out to recheck that it would physically fit in, because by simply looking at the car and the garage door..... there was no-way it was going to go! Most of my bemused neigbours could not believe that I had bought such a car without having a garage that it would fit into (car crime in the area is rather prevalent). Anyway, I had done the maths every couple of minutes since paying the deposit and knew that I had 2.5cm clearance on each side of the car (at the widest point, i.e. the mirrors, which do not fold in).
As such, with all the onlookers (all of whom were probably hoping that I was going to remodel both my new garage doors and the sides of this "disgustingly flashy" car), there was no way I was going to screw up. Admittedly, I did get some guidance, but even so, it went in pretty easily.
Anyway thanks for your concern Gary (aka.C3 GTK), the car fits fine and I can even get in and out of it once it is actually in the garage..... looking forward to Bruntingthorpe!

Just seen it on your profile.
I absolutely cannot wait to hail this chariot of divinity next weekend. Especially when I recall that when I nearly did what you have just done, the car under consideration was a black VT, too.
(Tony, it didn't belong to some Greek tycoon type with a penchant for Sant Agata, do you know?)
Sorry to go on but can you believe the magnificence of the thing? Please detail some thoughts on the bugger...
Your audience awaits!
