who else has been caught out with the noise of the diff, thinking it was something to do with the steering or suspension. Or is just me who is stupid. But gave me the chance to book my GT2 in for a geometry re-set at JZM, and i think some new front rubber, and maybe a little tune...

Never really noticed it tbh, although I generally have the window down listening to the pipes sing as they soar past 4k... hehe

What sort of tuning work are you looking at, Exhaust, Re-Map etc.?

i keep reading about the other GT2 owners getting the 500bhp+ out of the car, and i know it can take it..the engines are solid; so I was talking about it today. I dont know what it would involve just yet, as will think more about it when I have the other work done. Have you gone down the extra power route.

My cars running a DMS Re-Map and Sports Exhaust which is apparently good for over 500bhp. Another car I recently looked at had a Europipe Stage 2 Loud Exhaust along with a Revo Map and was dyno'd very soon after, results on the Dyno Plot showed just under 530bhp hehe The K24 Turbo'd cars seem to respond very well to mapping and exhausts.

JZM will adviise Europipe and Manthey remap. The Europipe you can get yourself cheaper (speak to Kurgen who posts on here) The Manthey re-map is more expensive than the DMS equivalent. What you have to ask yourself is............... "Do you feel lucky punk ?
Well do you ?

I had exactly the same experience; assumed my car was shagged!

Got use to it though now.

No - its just you hehe

Seriously though, they can sound a bit noisy at times. Ive just had mine checked because it had gone quiet - it was removed from the car and checked on the bench.. Was still A - ok.

yes they said when you cant hear anything thats when you might have a problem. You are right I am stupid tho, as I read about the dif noise when I bought the car and promptly put it out of my mind.
