996 GT3 Interior question?
Discussion
Great looking car for sale, however I notice that it has manual heating/ventilation dials as opposed to the digital option I have only ever seen in the 996.
Is this an option or is it that this could be a non-UK car?

Don't worry i'm quite happy with my GT2
, but after looking at many 996's i've never come across these dials as pictured.
Thanks for the info.

When new Climate Control was a no cost option on the 996 GT3 and GT3 RS so as to save weight, but most sensible people ticked the A/C box on the options list as for most of us it made sod all difference to our track times. Secondhand the cars without A/C are alot cheaper and like a good dose of herpes impossible to get rid of....

that car looks fantastic vale, all because it doesnt have air con.
if you could retro fit it cheaply then you would get a lot of car for your money
iirc this car has been for sale for at least 4 months

Speak to these guys, they're supposed to know their onions when it comes to the 996 and fitting aircon to them.

If it was a bit cheaper I wouldn’t mind that gt3 without air con in a few months if it’s still available; my only issue would be its worth when I sell it on as I change cars roughly every 2 years usually. There’s also no mention on whether the warranty has been extended, is Porsche okay if a few months have passed after the original warranty?

They're ok in that they'll make you put the car through a 111 point check at around a couple of hundered quid, make you rectify any faults found at your cost and then allow you to purchase the warranty at £895.
This car was a trade in through an OPC which they chose not to sell! I don't think that it has warranty left but was looked at by someone a few months back and they reckoned it was an ok car and could be had for a good price.
