Looking for opinions please!

Evening all!

Picked up my Nikon D40 just over a month ago and have been playing around with it.

Anyhow I was coming back froma meeting today and had the camera with me and took this:



3 questions for you photographers:

1 - What do you think of the exposure? I'm not very happy with it? Slightly too dark?
2 - How do you go about deleting things out of the image (see the bird flying above the aerial) - Can I do this in iPhoto??
3 - Any other pointers that I should look out for - be critical if you want!

Why did you get rid of the sky?? It's probably the best part in this image. You should've also left the space below the car as well. It looks too tight for my liking in the cropped image.

Here is the Top Gear stylee version. Lots of vignette and a couple of grads, puddle reflections reduced, distracting bright cloud toned down and generally too much faffing around.
