It is an enormous PH Summer get together, larger even than the Black Tie and Pie in November. There will be some drag racing to watch, and the possibility of even getting some cars on to the strip - so let the honour of the Tifosi the TUBI army be upheld by showing those TVR boys the meaning of power and noise.
There will be other things going on, and an almighty beerage session on the Saturday night if you want to camp etc.
So, hope as many of you as possible can make it. Anyone who went to Black Tie and Pie will know that the organised meets are a highlight of the PH calendar. If you've enjoyed the less formal meets organised by Don, Steve etc. (Virginia Waters, Basingstoke meets) imagine the fun when there's some nitro in the air and limitless supplies of beer.

Big thanks to Domster for his original post on the Porsche forum which I've totally lifted and plagirised (all in a good cause though ).

THIS IS YOUR WAKE UP CALL, GO TO PISTONFEST!!!!!

Come on Tifosi. Looking at the calendar, this is in danger of appearing to be a TVR event!!
Anyone would think connoisseurs of Maranello and Sant Agata's finest enjoy polishing their cars rather than driving them, partying and motorsport like the tiv crew!!!
Unlike carpark meets, an event such as this needs commitment and bookings from the start to allow the organisers to plan the full compliment of Pie and PINT facilities and competitions such as loudest exhaust etc....... rather than a I'll decide on the day if the weathers nice approach.
Remember Tickets must be booked in advance. However Ted is operating a generous discount scheme for people who organise and book for groups of 10 cars or more.
So if the South East Tubi Appreciation Society wanted an excuse to scare numpties on a cross country jaunt, this event is just what you've been waiting for.

PS - Remember to add the event to your PH calendar.

Hey DAZ no need to shout! Frostie & I are booked in already so there'll be a couple of V12s there at the very least. Rather doubt we'll be the only ones upholding Maranello honour @ Pistonfest, especially since it looks like it's going to be one of this years' must do events. Be there or be rectilinear adj.of the arse

There will be at least one car from Sant Agata there, and as for polishing.... I'm guessing that mine will still be caked with the dust, dirt, flies and stone chips from Le Mans.
I also think that there'll be a 360 Spider there (with even more stone chips)!!!
Splendid news guys.
Glad to see the V8 ferraris are going to be represented. Jason I assume you're going for the full Tubi decat along the lines of what Bernard, Basher and Ninja have "alledgely" done to their 355s. In which case everyone is going to be in for a real aural treat with your V8s and Frostie and 456mgt's "sorted" V12s.

Daz,
We all have neighbours, I think Tony's, who live immediately above his garage, have been very understanding so far!!!!
For my part I never really considered upsetting the neighbours, I live in an apt block with underground parking with a few apts immediately above. I've just had my Tubi fitted today (BTW Thanks to Manu and Ajay), and expect to wake a few of them up now and again!!!
C U @ pistonfest!!!!
Couldn't go the decat route just yet.....but as I said b4, its like drugs..............all too soon you want a bigger rush!!!!
