Not really sure....

I've got an order for the Bently Conti GT, and a Gallardo - both due next year.......

I've cancelled the Murci order - The 2WD Diablo is quicker and (IMHO) handles fantastically well. After several extended drives and some pretty smile inducing moments - Sadly, the Murci is not the car for me.

I've just brought an M3 (going to be a dad! - so lots of air bags).

I've threatened Penny with a Zonda - but I just don't like the back - although I think it would be awesome - especially in plain Carbon Fibre with no paint.

We also have an Allroader for the dogs - so the RS6 avant looks a likely replacement for the dogsmobile.

Any suggestions?????

For me the Diablo 6.0 is the perfect car.

However, the only other options I can see are:

Zonda (as you mentioned)
Ferrari F40 or F50
Ruf R Turbo (bit more useable!)

oh to be in you position!

Actually Jhoneyball - I TOTALLY disagree.... Despite the "actual" loss, on cars of this price, the depreciation is nothing.... Diablo 6.0s are holding their values really well.... IMO.
Anyone here bought a brand-new 456GT/Bentley etc.......? Are your eyes watering?

Errr manu, I think you are violently agreeing with me. :-)

Just because the Diablo has done *less badly* than say a 456 Ferrari is cause for only muted celebration, surely?

Well - I can honestly say that depreciation didn't - and has never - figured in any of my car purchases. I never ordered the car to get my money back. I suspect that the fall has a lot to do with the fact that the car is averaging over 6,000 miles a year - in all weathers! Most will average 2-3K summer miles.

These kind of cars don't usually get used like that.

Which is a shame - as I can honestly say that I still grin when I see the car every day!

I'd rather use my cars - than own and polish them, quite frankly.

Anyway - 25% deprec. in 2 years? That's not too bad IMHO.
