RE: Nightmare's Lamborghini Diablo SE Jota
Discussion
I knew there were two Viola ones...never bothered to find out if there were any others (cos frankly I couldnt give a monkeys ) Despite thoughts to the contrary, it has been possible to get it retro-plumbed into the SE and SV with some modifications....so there could be several around
Craig..think you're right...never really pay attention to that sort of thing (though a mate of mine was dead chuffed that he bought a purple M3 owned by Versace!)

I take it yours is the ex-Peter Saywell (spelling?) car? I saw it in AFN's showroom a few years back and it was snapped up - presumably by you?
I remember seing Mr Saywell at Goodwood several times in various stunning machinery (Vantage, 355 Spider, DB7, Venturi 400GT and a certain Viola Diablo).
Not as nice as Robin Fowler's Maroon SE30 though...

I never knew there was an Orange Jota...any details?
Yup.
Britsh registered (N7RAV). kind-of yellow/peach/orange colour. Definatly RHD and it has two LARGE exausts dead central under the rear bumper.
Has body clolour wheels and gold "30th aniversary special edition Jota" badging on the back.
In 2001 it was owned by a guy called Dave Barlow.
There you go mate. Enough Info?
Thanks for the info. I know N7RAV well as it was owned by an acquaintance, Ravi who also owns a yellow F50. It has had an interesting history, including confiscation by the police and numerous prangs. It was also in the factory's restoration department when I was at the Murcielago launch.
I once raced Jason Barker (unfortunately not in my Diablo) when he brought it home one weekend.
BTW: Those tailpipes are not factory issue....

Manu,
The very one. The man had an incredible collection of cars and women...He did so much business with Lamborghini that I recall the Director of the European dealer network telling me that he was considered by the factory to be a VVIP
I saw the yellow F50, but what was the other one?

132!!
Apparently he had a house (one among many) that would shame most 5 star hotels too.... (4 swimming pools?)
Anyhow - I believe Giallo F50 and Rosso F50 - and just about ever Lamborghini ever made including Diablo GT.
In a very very "exciting" business I believe...
What a guy! Has my undying respect - that's how to do it.
