For TVR's being mentioned in Top Gear as Sub Zero without any disagreement from JC! hehe Who was the mystery lady in the TVR T-shirt taking him on?

Actually, I am pretty sure he is. I'm currently thumbing through his book Born to be Riled. Basically just reprints of his newspaper articles from when the Cerbera was about to be launched, in many of the passages he mentions TVR and how good they are.

Has he ever put his money where his mouth is and bought (not given!!) a TVR? He goes for all the head line grabbers, the Ferraris, Lambos, GTs etc....which I have to say I do like (not the Murcielago tho')

On another note, Blimey, aren't these Lambo's common? Seen two since I bought my TVR - only seen another single TVR in the same time!

laugh

Hat's off to Sharon - put him in his place about Kia - not that I can comment - and then filled him in on TVRs - Nice One Sharon!!!

Well an RO has to do what an RO has to do!

What can I say .... just waiting to hear from the boss at the moment, although Jaguar HQ have already been in touch with me and congratulated me on my professionalism :-)

I did have a phone in my pocket full of sound clips where various Top Gear presenters have actually bigged up TVR, but sadly never got the opportunity to play them. Off camera JC was very sweet, but that could be because I let him stroke my beaver ... that's the TVRCC Bristol Beaver, by the way.

...and don't forget his "I'm too gay for a TVR" headlines in the Times... hehe

Thinking back - early Griff review on Top Gear (obviously about 1990/1) his raving about the car had me wanting one..... yes

JC must have been in a good mood - my guess is he could have spent the whole program taking the P out of TVR or Kia.

It made a change for them not to run down TVR but I guess even they think TVR is finished it's just on British to kick someone (TVR) when it's down..

My money is on them mentioning it went bust and has been brought again on next weeks show though..

Is it recorded before Friday ?

Oh he heckled as normal off camera when he had his photo taken with us. But then he moaned about most cars to be honest.

He was actually a very nice guy and I was surprised.

Filiming is done on a Thursday for the following Sunday.
