Have a persistent leak that, having eliminated all other sources, seems can only be coming from the joint between screen and car (bottom corner, drivers side). Short of just pulling the seal, cleaning, drying, and resticking with Sikkaflex or similar, are there any other tricks for curing this without refitting the screen?

Doing what you suggest doesn't really entail "refitting the screen" - I had a leak here, cured it by pealing back the seal enough to clean the gunk out and get a good bead of black adhesive silicone in there, not hard work and does the job.

I have been told in the past of a product that can be applied that will wick into any unbonded gaps and seal them, but have no idea of the name/details etc? Anyone

I can't see the black goo approach being anything other than a temporary bodge and don't want to remove the screen unles absolutely necessary, hence looking for more effective alternatives.

I'd be interested to hear more about this as well. What products people recommend and where to get them from, any tips/tricks to do a decent job would be gratefully received.

I've used sikaflex to cure a similar leak before. I've also used it on boats & it's lasted for years so it's not exactly a bodge.

I've been reading your comments regarding reseals and leaks i'm a windscreen tech with over 10 years experience so if i can help just yell as for pulling seals back don't pull them back to much as if they come out of the bond behind they won't sit back down on the body and look terrible. As for using silicon and other seals it isn't advisable as sometimes products in them react with the laminate in the glass causing it to weaken just as using a normal super glue on mirror bosses do this is a similar thing. If you try reseal the gap between the body and the glass you will probably cause a stress crack as you won't allow the glass any room to flex when your car goes over bumps etc if you are going to attempt a reseal i always tried to do it from the inside first but if honest if water is coming in to your car at a rate that you notice it i would suggest a full refit you could get one around 40 - 60 pound plus the dreaded. is it really worth your time hassle and effort and cost of product when for a little more it can be done properly. One other thing i would look at if you have one is your air con filter if you have one as on lots of cars if it's clogged up the water back fills and runs in to the foot wells of the car if you need any more help just let me know thanks.
