Well it certainly looks nice and has all the spec you need, carbon, nav, heated seats etc.

only one word of warning, although its a 52 plate car it is in fact an 02 model year and not the "facelift" interior spec - you can see that its got PCM1 rather than the more desirable PCM2 which looks alot better.

From a condition point of view, put it through the Porsche check and if it comes out OK then you should be fine.

Finally, from a price perspective, £56k is strong and generally OPC level but if the mileage is accurate and its as clean as it looks its not too bad. If you could get it for £54/55 then you will be doing well

Good luck

looks great and am sure you can knock them down a few K. AS mentioned above only downside is that this is one of the rare 52 plate that is MY02 - maybe registered late

Then go for it, X50 in the right colour. Get it inspected and on warranty and away you go!

GONNA HAVE A GOOD THINK ABOUT IT. SEEMS A GREAT CAR & PRETTY GOOD SPEC. DONT REALY CARE THAT MUCH ABOUT THE TOYS/SPEC - JUST AS LONG AS ITS A TURBO AND MANUAL & BLACK. JUST BEEN ON AUTO TRADER THERES ONE AT NORMAN MOTORS 2002/52 UP FOR 52,950 WITH 28,000 MILES. LOOKS NICE ALSO BUT NO S/STEEL EXHAUST.
Reckon in my opinion that car should be around £51,000 any thoughts anyone??

Only passed my test last may 2006 and are already onto my 4th car.
Had a audi tt 3.2, then a f355 and then a cayman 2 and ended up in the 997 c2s.

Why only just passed test? How old are you? Very strange list of '1st' cars ? Do you live near any bridges ears

As a compareson RSJ had a '03 53 (2004 model year) for sale late last year. Black/Black 996 TT manual with X50 pack, PCM2 etc etc 19K miles for £60k. Make this look a tad expensive

Yes 26 years old. Passed test in may of last year 10/05/2006. After finally getting round to doing it. I work offshore and out of the contry so never really had the chance.

List of cars

Audi tt 3.2 quattro - provisional licence (used to get driving lessons in it from my father and best mate.)
Passed test and got a F355 manual. Only had this about 2 weeks, didnt like it at all.

Sold it and jumped in at the deep end and got a brand new Cayman s. This only lasted about 4 weeks in the end also.
Took the plunge and travelled down to OPC Leeds and bought there 997 C2S in red with 18,000 on the clock - was blown away. Pretty tired of it now and as a few of my mates have 996tt i have had the pleasure of driving them.
I am now hooked !!

My c2s is now sold and i am in the market now for a 996tt.

There's a 997GT3RS available in the classifieds, if you buy that I'll take it off you in a month or so

Hello again lads,

Yes, i did see the x50 black/with black last year. It was sold before i made my move !

Cant afford the gtrs this year, may be if i hadnt have blow all my money last year swapping cars i may have beeen able to purchase it.

Going to go and see for myself this black/black x50 thats up for sale now. If its ok and passes Porsche inspection i`ll see if the dealer(stealer) will come down to about £54,000. Thinks thats about right

What are your thoughts?
