Happily I have been on the other end of a camera the last couple of weeks.
One time was courtesy of "Bloke with a Camera" who you'll know as Simpo Two (Autograph Media) - example:

The other was a Mauritian ex-photojournalist (well, we couldn't afford to take Bloke all the way out there!) who, as Mrs Beano (who now really is Mrs Beano - gosh) pointed out is more used to riots than weddings...
