I can tewll you that I invested in one of these Gizmos a few years ago from the Wizard, and stuck it on my harley!

Suffice to say that it took the BHP from 70 - 150 bhp, and if anyone knows how heavy and cumbersome they are, you will know the challenge.

Anyway, the result - BRILLIANT and hairy! I scared many riding superbikes who whanged the throttle and passed me with a sympathetic grin, which was replaced by sheer dis-belief when I flicked the switch, hit the horn (yes - the horn!)which opened the vibrating solenoid to deliver a smooth but hugely satisfying thrust and growl from the exhaust....and prompty shot passed them!

Those engine have a smashing sound - even better with NOS!

I do recommend it....the only thing to remember is you have to invest in having a MASSIVE gas cylinder in you garden to keep topping up you unit!

....WARNING....Don't sniff it!

Shithotfast: I have a complete setup for nos in the garage. It is set up for a holley carb with an underplate nozzel. The system was designed for its original owner by the guy that owns NOS Systems. the system includes two bottels one steel and one composite plus mounts s/s braided lines ect. If you are intrested give me a shout. Rowdyrenault. By the way the system is new a dyno day and one track day worth of use.

just a couple of ?s

how much are you planing on spraying? US guys normally say you use 1lb of N2O for every 100bhp shot per 10second burst.

soooo from a 10lbd bottle you get about 5 10 second bursts. this is cos they recomend you dont go below half bottle or the presure just dies when you spray.

also worth looking into a bottle heater. there are some funky setups that turn the heaters on when the ignition is turned on!

thanks Chris.

thanks Chris.

Was thinking of just using it for drag racing (honest!) and with my gearing i would only use on 3rd and 4th gears so only need about 5-6 secs of noss on each run max. so I guess 1lbs max per run.??

well you could go for a 200bhp shot for 5 sec to use roughly 1lbs of N2O. the probelm is as the bottle empties it wont keep constant presure over the whole run (even if only using a short burst). you should run a N2O system at about 950-1050 psi.

the best means i have seen to keep the bottle presure up at around 1000psi is to use a pusher system. this is basically a standard N2O bottle but with a aditional valve. on to this you atatch a regulated nitrogen bottle (like the paint ball gusy use). these run at a bout 4500psi. this system then allows you to "prime" the N2O bottle to 1000psi no matter what the bottle presure is at room temp. also you can run the N2O at the most ideal presure for the whole run! soo it hits hard at the end of the run as it does when you first press it!

thanks Chris.
