was wondering what the correct setting are for track use with michelin pilot tyres..not cups 18s,toe,camber front rear etc?
Err, would there be any difference... toe and camber affects the physical geometry of the suspension... if you started to take account of different tyres in the set up, you shold also take into account tyre pressures, corner weighting etc. etc. I would set it up to manufacturer's settings then see what it's like on different rubber, then adjust tyre pressures to suit. If still no joy, work on a set up that works for you. But some people are more aggressive drivers and one set up that works for one person may not work for another. Wet and dry set ups may also be different.
My 964 is set-up with 1.3 degrees neg on the rear, and 1.25 neg on the front, I can't remember the caster and toe though I had Colchester OPC do mine.....about £175 If memory serves last year. Handles fine on the roads, still needs a tweak as the turn in isn't quick enough, and I have to play too much on the throttle to get the front end to bite, but otherwise on 18's its not too shabby.

Since I've got more time now.....
According to the PORSCHE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS booklet, on standard 17", with full fuel, spare wheel and tool kit and the height adjustment at 125mm +/- 5mm measured from 'front wheel contact area to outer hex. head bolt of cross member mount on body' (don't ask me....
)
Toe: +25' +/- 5'
Camber: -1 degree +/- 10'
Caster: 4 degrees 25' +15' -30'
Max difference left to right 15'
Just checking the last one I had done on my Cup Car running slicks on a Wheelforce 4040 by GT1, which may be a bit extreme.....
FRONT: TOE +13'; Camber -2 degrees 50'; Caster +2 degrees 45'; REAR: Toe +15'; Camber -3 degrees 10'
The camber was the most they could go without changing the ride height.
But just be aware increasing the front camber isn't the only way to help turn in!!! (Strut brace, anti-roll bars, trail brake etc....) And a change in fuel load will also affect it!! Have fun!!
