What they say:
'Where vehicle tailpipe emissions data are not readily available, local authorities may wish to consider alternative means of identifying or approximating emissions performance.'

What they mean:
Wherever some sort of envious public servant feels annoyed by your motor expect him to put it into the highest charge bracket...furious

its just getting a little bit silly now, i can see riots, protests, people just bloking roads with their cars and lots more other trouble over this much more than its worth.

as I said on another thread, if we where french we would have put a stop to it already, before it went any further, make sure the government know what we think about it.

but where not french.

so im off to have another cup of tea.

TAX TAX TA! Bollocks it's to prevent congestion. I love the bit where they say that road tax and fuel duty will most probably be in addition to congestion charges and it's review is a matter for the treasury. Well thats it, if they spent the fuel duty and RFL on the roads and public transport we wouldn't be heading for gridlock amreggdon in the first place!
