I need to get some key coding changed on my 997. My car has started to lower both windows at random times. My last 997 had the same issue and the fix was to adjust the key coding so that the windows can only be operated from the inside and are removed from the central locking coding (believe its called the window comfort setting). Its a recognised problem (and not just that the keys are sensitive as most OPCs simply claim...)

Problem is my local OPC are total nobs and I'd rather not have any 'highly trained Porsche engineer' touch my car ever again. Is this something an indy (like JAZ) could do or does it have to be an OPC?

Cheers - Erik

Possibly or not depending on the diagnostic kit that they have or haven't got - where abouts are you?
