car for sale on

www.dkeng.co.uk

Spped yellow S at £53k.

looked a great car and what seems good price, just called to enquire / buy but the car was sold at the weekend. i asked if it was a Turbo with S bits or a real S. I was told it was a real S if in which case it looked cheap?

One of my favourite Porsches ever; or rather, it was...

Problem - I drove one belonging to a friend not so long ago. Suspension setup was horrifically harsh and skippy on UK roads; a real disappointment. Standard Turbo so much more subtle.

therein lies the problem with the Turbo S - far too hard for British (any?) roads...standard TT with x50 more desirable driving machine IMO. S's mainly for collectors now?

959 on the site would be a better long term bet than the 'S'

I have Turbo S suspension on mine and swapping out the S spec shocks/springs with PSS9s and using rubber top mounts instead of the monoball camber plates makes a massive difference very compliant ride with the '9s set on soft. Having said that I am having a new set of FVD monoball camber plates fitted to the PSS9s to see if I can sharpen it up that little bit without the pain
