Donington Park 11th March....Flying the flag

Since going round Oulton in the wet I thought i'd never return to a trackday. Just so little run off there, makes for an exciting ride though. Booked with Easytrack that time who seemed very professional, at one point they called a drivers meeting midway through the afternoon to demostrate what could happen to your car.....

A cosworth had spun off and wrecked his motor. Because there were so many spins resulting in the track having to close they re-wrote the rules and decided that anyone who spun in the afternoon was going to be thrown off, sent home!! Gives you an idea of how greasy it was, luckily I spun on my last lap.

Well fingers crossed for the 11th, my cars future no doubt rests in the hands of the weather gods! Heres hoping for a lovely spring day.

Here's also hoping a few of you guys can join me for the day and hunt down any PORSCHE BOXSTER S's

Check out photo No: 73643 I had a great play with a 911 GT3 RS. I caught him and tagged him for a few laps. We had very similar speed along the starky straight, I could carry more speed through most of the corners. The craner curves were just bum clenching awesome.

After a couple of laps the 911 GT3 RS let me past and tagged me for a few laps. Great fun. Your car should eat Boxters for breakfast around Donongton, shame most 911's and give GT3's and RS's a good run for their (expensive) money.
