Hi everyone, I'm new in here although been on PH for a while now.

My kit car uses a 5 speed MTX-75 which I was told came from a Noble (M12 I think) and I now have the opportunity of picking up a 6 speed box from a Mondeo ST220 which I believe might be the same as one that the later Nobles use (GTO-3R?)
Can anyone shed some light on the gear ratios comparison between the 5 & 6 speed boxes?

Ideally I am looking for taller gearing as my present 5 speed gearbox's first gear is far too high so I tend to use 2nd gear for launches (0-60 in less than 4 secs so not too bad) and lower revs on the motorway would be better.

Thanks in advance
Raz

Thanks gizard - that's the 6 speed taken care of.
Have you got the 5 speed ratios as well?

Cheers,
