your call is important to us please select one of the following options
If you wish to debate the merits of a GT3 versus a TT, please select option 1 and then 15 pages of arguing later you'll be none the wiser.
If you're looking for a child seat please press option 2, hang up and do a search, it's not difficult for ffs!
If you're a tiptronic owner and are sick of the relentless jokes at your expense, then get someone else to press 3 for you.
If you've seen a car with a savannah interior and wish to make a faeces based joke press 4.
If you're about to order a Porsche and want to know what spec to order for resale, then 5 is probably the best option for you, but as it's for someone else press 6.
If you're a GT3 owner and know of another GT3 that hasn't been tracked since Tuesday press 7.
If you've got a joke involving Boxsters and hair dressing press 8 then get off the phone, you'll be late for school.
If you've read some internet hysteria about 996 engine failures press 9, then 3, then 7, then 2, then 6, then 6, then 2, then 8, then # twice, then
off.
If you've seen someone dare to chose a different Porsche then get a life, we've all got different tastes, that's why we have menus.
If you're a 993 owner and have seen a leggy 996 below £20k and wish to use the words 'station car' we're guessing you haven't got one of those modern keypad thingys, send us a telegram as usual.
If you're names Kevin and you wish to give us your opinion on GT3s, OPCs, dealer bids or just about anything else please hang up, we already know.
If you're a troll please mash the keyboard three times with your hand, no hand, h a n d.
If you're looking for the best car forum on pistonheads please continue to hold, you're in the right place.

Targa ?
Pikey you are digging a hole for yourself now....... we could have one button to press for those who have a gayman/cockster yet aspire to own a targa......

That sounds like fighting talk to me!
For the record, we're not going for the Targa, we're going for ( [Keep the Gayman] + [Purchase Ecurie 25 membership] ).
It's a really, really nice car.. but does lose an element of "Porsche sportiness" that I want and feels a little like a rapid luxo-barge. Also, if I changed it, the deal would be through an OPC and I just couldn't cope with KayC's ranting about being shafted on sale of one and purchase of the other!
PS. Knock the Cayman S all you want - it's more fun than the TT!

for the record, I like the Cayman and do not subscribe to the Gayman thing, especially as ran a Boxster for three years and loved every minute of it.
I recall your Targa musings, and I totally agree with what you did.
Whilst the Targa looks great and would have fitted your requirements perfectly, you would have got such a shafting on your cayman PX that a)even with the complementary OPC anal lube you would have been sore for months, and b) your internals probably would have looked worse than this

top form fella.
and all done at 6.42am!

I suspect the lack of snow at Jamie's caused all that creativity to appear suddenly at 6 oclock this morning. 42 minutes later (after pondering the meaning of life) he comes up with this. and all done at 6.42am!

If we're lucky that thinking streak will still be going and have solved Fermat's and be getting tucked into the correct magnetic field equations for successful nuclear fusion containment - or have invented the Omega 13.
Hmmm - the phone's engaged
