Could be just the ticket for my 200bhp/litre Supra I reckon; I have a fully mappable ECU so that's not an issue, may have to put some different injectors in but if I can raise the boost a bit (currently limited to 1.3bar on 99RON) due to the higher octane then I can make even more power . . . . while pretending to save the planet or whatever it is.

The only trouble is, after twenty minutes of googling, I can't find any site that lists the location of E85 filling stations!

One other question - is it compatible with Aeroquip braided fuel lines?

Forgot to add, I'm in north herts, and I only get 20mpg on unleaded (more like 15mpg on E85 I guess) so if I have to drive 50 miles to a station and fill up I'll only have half a tank left when I get home!

Calorus - there are some details on my profile, mine is a Mk3 Supra with the 7M engine, fully rebuilt with aftermarket parts and a Garret T67 turbo, AEM management.

You are aware that you'll need 1.4 litres of E85 for every litre of petrol.

And it costs about 82p/litre so the effective cost is 82 x 1.4 = £1.15 litre equivelant.

You might as well just buy race fuel. Cheers Chancellor Brown curse

I've heard that Ethanol is more corrosive than petrol, so you need to think about the whole fuelling system not just the lines - tank, fuel pump etc... They've been running cars on this in Sweden for about 5 years, especially the Ford Focus, and some of them are now having problems in these areas. Then again if it's just the occasional tank, you'll probably be ok.

MPG will be worse though...
