Am I right in saying that if the car is still in warrenty there`s no point of having the checkpoint done?

Is the 111 check point only really needed if the car`s out of warrenty and you are thinking about having porsche extended option?

I think that is the case.

Can anyone post up a schedule of the 111 point check so I can undertake whatever is practical myself. I have done a search but no schedule found although plenty of discussion.

Thanks

You don't need to have the check done if the car is still in warranty. You can renew / extend without it. If the policy lapses by more than a couple of weeks, then the 111 point check will have to be done again. Of course, if it's a car you're looking to buy, then the check maybe a good idea for your peace of mind.

Butcher is right. However, you get the 111 check thrown in if you take it to a mayor service.

I'd get the 111 done if I was thinking of buying a car.

Does anyone know how much a 111 point check cost - I have heard figures ranging from £150 to £400.

Also, if faults were found, they would need to be rectified prior to the issue of a warranty.

Do these faults have to be repaired at the Porsche dealer or can they be done elsewhere ?

£200
Yes
Not necessarily but then you have to pay for another 111.
