Just browsing the Jag forum and thought i would drop a link of what i thought was the cheapest XJ6 in the UK with only 60k miles, the one at £13995, i contemplated buying an XJ but at the time they were too pricey and bought an E240 Elegance instead. I think that the XJ is such a beautiful car and seems to constatnly get great reviews,i have thought of trading the E Class in come March when there should be a growth in stock due to trade ins, well hopefully.

Looks cheap? But knowing Arnold there will probably be a reason scratchchin

On the face of it, it looks like a base model and therefore maybe a bit undesirable?
The prices are constantly falling, and probably best to remember at 4yrs old it well out of warranty.

Hi Davy, i viewed it when it was at £16500 and it is a nice model, Dealers are still asking £17-£20k for a 2003 with sometimes well over 60k miles, there is the odd private one with low miles at £17995 but this just seems a bargain BUT then again they have had it for over 4 months???

Well if you have seen it and are happy with it great stuff. As for having it for 4 months well they do become 'old stock' and it may well be a genuine reduction to clear it, probably because they know they might be due some others into stock so want this one away. I know arnold don't usually do warranties though? you may have to look into that yourself? Perhaps consider an independant inspection as well, Arnold has a bit of a reputation for doing the bare minimum to a car to get it out the door. If it was me i would get an indy inspection done and if ok and you are happy go for it, then join the JEC and buy one of their warranties, far better than anything arnold will give you.Hope this helps you, good luck!

Cheers Dave,I know what you mean about Arnold, there are countless complaints about there used cars, they give you a one month warranty that doesnt seem to cover anything to be honest. As for Kennedy cars, if the advert does not show the mileage then i can only assume its astronomical although i beleive they would say its all Motorway Miles!! LOL
