My other car's a Defender!

I sure was glad of the 4 wheel drive on my Turbo S Cab this morning (the roof was up for once though) as I eased my way through 5 inches of snow on country roads to reach the M40. Biggest problem I had with the snow was that it made opening the front gates a bit of a challenge
Now, if I can just avoid the numpties on my way home I should avoid any nasty repair bills......

However, except in the most extreme conditions, a decent driver really should be able to cope with 2wd.
On that evidence there are only a handful of decent drivers in Hampshire the rest of 'em are already out modifying the hedgerows, street furniture etc this morning.......... However, except in the most extreme conditions, a decent driver really should be able to cope with 2wd.

Sure, but loads them turn into 1wd at the drop of a hat. Or even snow. Rear wheel drive sports cars with limited slip diffs are the way to go. E30 rules (and prolly some GT3s if they were not such an inviting snow-plough shape at the front However, except in the most extreme conditions, a decent driver really should be able to cope with 2wd.

Only problem I had was the queues all moving at 2mph. I think getting people in and out of the car parks must be bad this morning...
