No, not the title of a new magazine project I'm working on... hehe

Sadly the new Chim will have to live outside so I need a good cover for it. Looking at a "Weathershield" from www.covercraft-europe.com - any comments on whether it is really worth £300+ or is that actually quite reasonable? Any other recommendations?

I've got a Classic Additions cover for my T350C. It was bought with the idea that it could be used both inside and outside. Apparently, you can put the cover on even with a wet car, but I have not tested this!
The cover retailed for around £80-90 but I got a discount for being a TVRCC member. For what I wanted, it's reasonably good. May consider a tailored cover when I've got a bit more cash and I would consider Classic Additions again.

Good prices - tempted to try the lightweight outdoor first. Is it decently waterproof??

It get the best you can, and don't put it on a wet car, even if it says so, Esp in the summer, as it can make the lacor on the paint go cloudy like when you put a hot cup on a lacored wood table. so be carefull.

I used one for my Cerbera but wasn't as good as one of these - www.carcoversuk.com/waterproofcarcovers.htm
This one is waterproof and breathable so you can put it on the car when wet but it will not let rain in. Worked far better than the covercraft and was of better material. Well worth the price.

Just make sure you don't get one of those silvery ones, my man, they keep setting your alarm off!

Big vote here for the Hamilton Classic Moltec outdoor car cover.

Waterproof and breathable, can also be put on car when damp if need be. I had mine on in torrential rain and it kept the car pretty much dry. Also stayed put in the gales we had the other week, did'nt even come close to coming off thanks to two underbody straps and elasticated edges. Quality is really good and its a nice weight. Fleece lined so it wont damage your paintwork either.

Best bit is that the price is only about £103 plus postage for the TVR sized covers.

I second that, having had one for six months now. Quality at a reasonable price.
