Just bought a late 04 S Type diesel, which club do people recommend,
JDC or JEC?

I belong to both as the JDC insurance scheme was better for modern jags but the JEC insurance scheme is better for the E type. Both have areas in which they are better than the other.
What are you looking for from the club?

The other thing would be to try and find out which club is stronger in your area. I was a member of both clubs but there doesn't seem to be a local JDC in the Berkshire area where as I was contacted by the local JEC and have had been to various events and meetings with them. Apart from the JDC mag and a subsciption reminder I've only heard from the JDC only about an event the JEC had invited me to a couple of weeks earlier. In other areas I believe the JDC are much stronger. I think my local JEC group have had joint meetings with the north Hampshire JDC as they seem to be the club in that area. YMMV

JEC for me, excellent monthly mag as well. You get insurance discount with Footman James if a JEC member.

Umm, looking for cheap insurance and a good mag I suppose.
I'm the TiPEC Independant Porsche Club Regional Organiser
so my Missus won't be too impressed if I get heavily into
another car club!
I live in the Medway area of Kent if this helps.

The JEC is far superior to the JDC. I used to belong to both clubs but I got fed up with the in fighting, lack of transparency & generally poor technicla support at the JDC. In addition the JEC magazine is larger & the Club, generally, far more innovative.I think its cheaper to!
