I seem to remember David Hockney (artist bloke) doing a few cars once, the only ones i saw were BMW 850s on Blue Peter (was only little). Seems to have spawned a copycat.

yeah, I have a copy of CAR magazine full of the so called BMW "art" (dubious!) Cars. The 1999 LMp Car with the phrase "protect me from what I want" written on it. Hardly art is it?
