350i Coupe....
Discussion
Try Steve Heaths Wedge book for numbers - Quite a few I think is the answer - certainly a fair few 280 Coupe's of which several are now in the Taz challange. £6,995 does sound on the high side for a Coupe, IMHO. If it's low miles, near perfect/concourse, unmolested and FTVRSH then for a coupe IMHO it'd be a £5k car. You can get a good 350i converter for the money of this car and a reasonable 400 for £1k more i.e. £8k(see Autotrader this week). Portway cars have had an '86 350i FHC at this money for a couple of yr's!! If your keen on a Wedge TVR pose a question to the guy's on this gassing station and they'll give you a good feel for what to look for and at what money.

There were 52 350i coupes made, compared with 897 350i convertibles and only 6 350i 2+2 coupes. Have a look at prices for the convertibles and then take £1000 off for a coupe. They are quite practical to own as you can get a surprising amount of stuff in the back of a coupe. A good cheap and practical way into wedge ownership. Must admit though £6995 is a bit steep. £5000 + or - 500 depending on condition. See the TVR Wedgepages for a full buying guide.
