Did anyone see the woman driving the X-Type? Oh my God. She actually said: "...with children in the car the last thing you want to be doing is concentrating on driving."!!!!! It really is beyond belief. All this with a 5 year old in the front seat with the seat belt running across his neck. Thats what causes accidents not fast driving with a driver who concentrates on the task in hand: DRIVING! I thought these programmes had to promote safe driving these days.

Didn't see it, but on the face of it that looks like a pretty irresponsible thing to say.
Its a biological fact that women are programmed to be able to multi task and men are not. Men would find a child in the front seat a distraction, women less so. When a man is dealing with the child the outside world ceases to exist. A woman can be dealing with the child and also be aware of the outside world at the same time.
Having said that, I wonder if there are an statistics about how many accidents involve women in the car with small children?
