Hi Guys

Spent the day clenaing the car today - making the most of the winter sunshine and the hose pipe ban being lifted!
Anyhow, been looking at the inside and just a bit worried what to clean the dash with?

Are all Nobles the same with the rubbery plastic dash if so anyone recommend a good product to bling it up a bit!

Also, Im sure I read somewhere that someone had managed to come up with a way that stopped the wing mirrors vibrating out of place when driving along. Is this the case or have I lost the plot a bit!

Thanks
Monkee

Some here...
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=82993&f=26&h=0&hw=dash

It's a wierd material painted matt Black and can be easily scuffed. Use plain soap (Simple brand works OK!) applied with a soft brush and dry it off with a wet cloth. When dry buff up with a dry cloth - most marks come off this way (and no other way!).

PS - don't try to use ANY common cleaning products - you'll be sorry! nono

Dug out the manual and it's five sides of A4 so a bit big to post up, drop me a email and I'll send it over. It's courtesy of 1G racing in the states.

Thanks for the info AMG

I will try the soap and water to see how I get on.

Its a funny finish looking at mine closely its got loads of little nicks and scratches on it hopefully these won't show up too much when its clean!

That's the thing, they look like permanent scrathes but seem to come off with a clean!

BTW, the dash fabrication comes from Germany (Germany-SA-Barwell - a circuitous route to us!).

Has anyone tried their replacement wiper blade option?

Love the motorised ones! - think i will add them to the Noble birthday list!

Haven't tried the wiper blades but probably because I don't drive in the rain too much!

I'd be interested in looking at those.

My wipers are a bit annoying to say the least when being used. Very juddery and squeeky.

Anyone tried them? Broad?

Greg, Graham dosent come on here anymore. I have the new ones from Noblemods, look nice, only used them static, as the car is awaiting a rad from Pace. Same design as on the Audi, which I am very pleased with.

Guys

Tried the soap and water trick and it got rid of 90% of the marks...

Was going to leave it at that but decided to grit my teeth and try some of this I had lying around in the cupboard. I use it on the trim and splitter normally

www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/pb30interior.html

and its come up a treat

Would recommend it if you are feeling brave! though think I will only use it when its really bad andstick to the soap and water for the weekly clean.

Only cleaned it once so far (looking to give it another clean this weekend) but have used something the Webmistress got for her Elise - Simoniz 'Matt Finish Dashboard Cleaner' (Kunststof Reiniger to our German cousins

Works for us!
