Just a few photos from Wedneday on my trip down to Valencia. Unfortunately I got a dirty window

Just after take off from Stansted.

Over the south of England

Then over the channel.

Snow over central France.

Then over the Pyrenees.

And finally on approach over the docks at Valencia

Don't say that!!

On the return trip, just as the flight attendant was closing the door, the Captain said over the tannoy "Don't slam the door."

About 10 minutes later, just before pushback, the flight attendants are looking at the rear edge of the front door yikes Cue a phone call to the cockpit, the attendant then opens the door again, fiddles with something on the outside before closing it again yikes

I had visions of the door coming off at 35,000 feet!!

They aren't nicknamed Ryanscare for nothing hehe

You were lucky to be able to take any pics on the plane. On the flight to Florida last year I was told in no uncertain terms that photography on the plane was totally banned.

No reason given except SECURITY - it was just after the problems last year with so-called terrorists trying to take fluids onto planes.

I think at the time they were worried about any hand luggage going on board.

I think there was rumour at the time that they were going to use camera flashes (or something hidden in portable electrical devices) to set of the bombs.
