Just after some information. As the title says, I'm a new nobleowner. Brought a fab 3R. I've been trough plenty of cars but this is just fantastic.
Anyway onto my points.
1. 4 new tyres are not far away. Any advise? Stick to original Bridgestones or.........?
2. Any Noble car meets/runs? I'm in Staffordshire?
3. Going to Le Mans, traveling on the Thursday. Willing to meet peeps on the way. Going with M1nky (drives a TVR so not really that clever).
Thanks

Welcome,

1.There are many threads on tyres, if you don't mind the cost the corsa motorport are the best but not so great in the wet (I'm sure someone will advise otherwise). SO3's are hard to get and the RE050's are the replacement.
2.Keep an I on this website, there are some coming up. I'm doing a novice PM trackday at Brands next month with a 3R and a rare M10.
3.There is a post a couple of pages back with details on who is going.

The factory have posted on hear that the best alternative tyres to SO3's are
Pirelli P Zero Rosso. If you search they give the exact code for front and rears.

Obviously got a great choice in cars! Next you'll be saying its blue!!?!

You are rather in luck on the Le Mans thing as there are about 10 Nobles all heading down on the Thursday morning. I think our leader booked us all on the 07.30 speedferry. I never knew that time existed!! Nice work Obes!!

Welcome to the best club on earth! wavey

Hi Simon

Good to see you on the Pistonheads Noble forum. Hope you are enjoying the car.

Plans Motorsport advised me to go for Pirelli PZero Rossos when they need replacing if that helps.

Cheers
James

Hi Simon, I'm not a million miles away near Loggerheads, the other side of the county. I'm booked up on a wednesday crossing for Le Mans - couldn't remember what day everybody else was going. How about meeting up as the nights get a bit lighter, half-way, perhaps Stone? I called in at the Wayfarer once - a couple of TVR owners used to meet on a wednesday but not seen anything recently. Could make it nearer Mkt Drayton if the Whitchurch branch were interested.
Cheers, Bernie.

Yeah. the wayfarer is cool. M1nky (TVR T350 driver) will deffo come out for a BLAT. Perhaps we should organise a meet, put some threads out saying where and when, and see who turns up

I'm now starting to feel welcome within the Nobility!!!

Hi Simon, wednesdays are good for me. Go to the running club in Stone and then rehydrate with a few Isotonic Strongbows. If we firm up a date, even as soon as this week, see who turns up, may get a few PH'ers cos there's not a lot happening otherwise.
Your lucky living at Ucheter, nice bit of road to push the car, enjoyed it myself on the way to Derby. Cheers, Bernie

I'll be there 8'ish. Do you want to post on the Midlands Regional Forum and encourage other PH'ers or is it Noble only?
Cheers, Bernie
