Question for all the people who made our cars what they are; did you leave your signature on the cars you worked on and where would I look? For instance, my Griff 500SE is a corker and you should be proud - anyone know that they worked on it & left their mark?

I guess not

It's a knack I have - wherever I post, the thread sinks without trace & before you know it, page 96.... oh, the shame!

There's loads of stuff under the carpets. Smiley face I think is John Mleczek Blackpool RO. You know about the Brent Numan one. The guys would be able to tell you where they would be exactly.

see you got a response - ok its off me so its probably still shameful
Sorry

Where did you put the Numan logo, Brent? As an aside, Gary Numan lives in the same village as my mum and her partner lives next door to him.

I know of some foreign objects finding their way into the layup at times in the body shop, does that count as a signature?

I mainly worked on Tuscans, but worked on a few Sagis.
My logo, simply 'TH', was sprayed on the tunnel top, behind the handbrake.
As you say Brent,"them were the days". What a team mate!.

Wish I knew how to take the frikken bits off my Tamora so I could check what logos I got. Or rather, wish I could be confident that I could put 'em back on again....

Sadly I never met any of the factory guys, but it would be good if there was some way to find out who worked on your cars.

Would this be a sensible thread to start, or am I being niave????
