rattling fan in dash x5

I've notice a rattling fan type noise coming from the climate control dash area on first entering the car, any clues as to what it is and how it can be fixed. It is a 2001 X5. Thanks, Ian

Its probabely the climate control panel cooling fan that sits on the back.Need to pop off the panel(small screw driver and gently prise)
Clean off fan-if not replace-its a small fan about the size of a old 50p round
