ALMOST OVER NOW.
The last member of the TVR aftersales team that came from HLG is on 90 days notice.
The last man standing will be Mike Clarke in sales,a great guy but now without the backing of the once totaly dedicated aftersales team !!!
Its all very sad for TVR in the north west but the ex staff are all now very relieved that its all over and they have moved on and can get back to normality in their lives.
The aftersales team would like to thank all owners who have supported them in the past
years.
They would also like to thank all the staff at TVR who they came in to contact with over the years,Mike williams,Heath,Paul giddings,Stuart turner,Pat in warranty(YES WARRANTY)ste and dave the delivery team in the big purple daf truck, all in engine build etc etc i could go on all night.byebye

I only met Mike the other week when I started looking for real for my first TVR - top bloke - wonder what's gonna happen up at Ciceley's TVR Preston then? Are they gonna go back to just Mercs? And what about Service etc, especially for the guys/gals who bought new from HLG/Ciceley's

Well once ian has gone from the workshop they wont have anyone who knows anthying about TVR.
(Some good guys are left in the workshop but they are merc techs and not tvr).
So if people need work doing on there TVR'S i would get it sorted pronto.
But with all the talk of the lack of warranty whats the point in going to the main dealers now anyway idea

The NW is fine, Automedon are up there as is John Reid and a few other interesting ppl. The lack of a dealer isnt a massively big issue.

Absolutely - Automedon are doing a fantastic job and are incredibly busy.

Looking forward to picking up Car 13 from them next week...

Other than warranty work, when was it ever worth going to the dealers - overpriced, under-achieving. Cost me a fortune in the early days when all the work they did had to be redone at an Indy (See below). Useless.

Also in the NW - Torque RVT in Middlewich. Not put a foot wrong and v reasonable. Although the coffee can only be drunk by real men/women. Once saw a Griff owner drink it and cry. Sad sight

Official Statement From Ciceley Continental TVR

We at Ciceley are exceptionally disappointed with the current situation but remain still optimistic of a positive resolution to the issues with Blackpool Automotive and the future production of TVR vehicles, supply of parts and maintenance of factory warranty packages.

Our approved TVR service department/workshop is open with qualified experienced technicians to service and maintain all TVR vehicles, our sales department headed by Mike Clarke is buoyant and has the highest quality pre-owned and new TVR cars.

Correction the last member of the original aftersales team at this dealer has today handed in his notice.
So one week from now this dealer will not have any of the original TVR experienced after sales staff left in the workshop only merc techs !!!
eek!
Its a shame but it didnt work very well from day one.byebye
