I,ve thought of using a small furry creature to paint the inaccessible areas of my chassis (see previous hampster threads) - but brilliant idea to use the pet dog. (last photo) We've got a long haired collie and although intelligent will probably paint the entire garage as well ! How do you get all the paint out of their coat? --- Sorry Hee Hee - seems to be the time of year.

Seriously, nice paint job and like the idea of the 'flaps' - now looking for a rogue dustbin lid after the gales!

Train your own hamster. Mine has just completed his second City and Guilds, setting them up with a trade for life isn't cheap you know.

Ive done the same thing on the drivers side (the pass side inner wheel arch is low enough)using an old mud flap that i cut up. it works to protect the tube

I'm just worried about when the missus puts something in the bin next time... I'll do it for a while I think.

I dont know about hamsters but my dogs not that clever really, I can beat her at chess 3 times out of four !

nearsides about done now, will be starting on the offside next - ball joint and what else ?

does anyone know if exhaust paint should go straight on a zorst as rusty as mine or if Kurust can be applied first? Kurust looks like a lacquer when its dry so i suppose it would just burn off ? I cant see anything mentioned about heat on the kurust bottle, but I thought I'd ask...

Havent got a clue,,but I beleive some rust convertors are acid based so just be careful with the fumes as it heats up first time, just a thought.
