I was driving home from work today when I came up behind a Nova. After following it for several miles somthing about it's appearence troubled me.

It took a while for the penny to drop, but I was actually behind a Nova that didnt have a dustbin for a tailpipe, 18" wheels, and 2" hacksawed off the road springs and all those other high performance bolt-on bits usually found in the glass cabinet at Halfords, known by my mate as "w@nkers window"

"Wow" I thought, "An unmolested Nova" I didnt think there were any left. And if you think about it, as long as the evolution of adelesent "yoof" transforms from BMX to Car, a Nova without a 8" windscreen sun strip and seat belt warmers fitted will soon be rarer than a 1960s Le Mans winning works Ferrari GTO.

So could it be, after years of "Bolt-on" Boys highly enginered performance mods, that we may see in the future these few unmolested Novas changing hands for huge amounts of money at Sotherbys? Telephone bidding for a 1.2 Nova Swing?
