What final drive does a std Cooper have.
Discussion
Standard SPI Cooper car is 3.2fd. Later MPI Cooper went to longer gearing (2.76fd) to get past drive-by noise regulations (included getting rid of the engine driven fan and going to a front mounted rad).
3.1fd was standard on 1275cc Mini Sprites / Mayfairs (92- end of production).
