I'm making a New adaptor plate for my LS1 to G50 gearbox, and am drawing it all in Cad so it can be cnc machined. What I need is a drawing of the crank centre line to bolt holes and Dowels on the bell-housing pattern.
Does anyone have these Dimensions ?? I believe the old Iron and new LS engine have the same pattern so either would do..

Great help if you did....

Sorry I can't help.

But I'm sure there would be a few people out there that would like one of these, should be more cost effected if you run a few off.

Clive, the lsx bell housing is slightly different in that the 12 oclock bolt has moved sideways. Also the lsx bell housing has 2 bolt holes into the sump whereas the sbc has a cover plate and no sump connection.

Strange but the standard Kennedy Old Iron block adaptor plate just bolted right up to my LS1 no problem. Just Missing 2oclock bolt hole, as its to close the right head. SO not sure about the 12 oclock bolt being out of possition ???

The plate I'm making also becomes the rear engine mount so sorry would be no good for any other Ultima owners.....

These dims must be out there, the engines as old as the hills..

..

It will bolt up as the holes are in the same place except for one, the 12 oclock, 2 oclock bolt. You could weld on a tab or forget about it.
