Nope, not I! Woke up, car under cover (cover was covered in snow, if you know what I mean....) so took the missus to work and used hers. Thawed out by midday anyway. Had a bit of a blast this morning though - that was fun in the frost..

Due to extremely bad planning on my part, my Corrado is over at Stealth Racing for an extensive (and expensive) programme of restoration and upgrades for the next week or so, so I have to use my TVR in all weathers at the moment.

I was somewhat 'concerned' (sic) when it snowed yesterday although it turned out the roads were well gritted and it was no worse than driving in wet conditions. Great fun pulling donuts in the empty part of the carpark when I got to work though. hehe

I tried leaving for work at 6:30 am, none of the roads were gritted (not even the main roads) and the traffic due to the jack-knifed lorry on the M25 was appalling. I was more worried about some loon skidding into me than me losing the S so decided to head home. Took me three-quarters of an hour to go round the block.

Took one look at the snow covering the car and thought better of it!

Would probably have been ok but didn't want to risk it

Wasn't out in the recent snow, but I remember vividly the two occasions I was out in the Griff in unexpected snow, miles from home. I had to negotiate a steep hill and deep snow and despite crawling along in 5th and feathering the clutch I swung about trying to get up it. I couldn't see the verge in the blizzard and it involved a lot of guesswork as to where the road probably was - not recommended at the best of times and certainly not if you're in a fibreglass bodied car!

I always thought you could never have too much power, but 340bhp and no traction/abs/airbag nonsense convinced me otherwise - my next car was a heavily modded Impreza STi import complete with wussie extras...

I also remember going around corners with other cars on the opposite side and, almost like magnetic attraction, veering towards them! Bloody brilliant in the dry though :-)

I had the Griff yesterday and although it didn't snow very much it is fine as long as you take it easy.
You wimpy fine weather drivers.

Obviously both my car and my shorts were out in the snow. 56k miles come rain or shine, or it seems snow.
