996 accelerator pedal

The hinge at the base of my accelerator pedal is cracked.

Does anyone know if you can repair this, ie, how can you remove the pedal to glue it?

Or can you buy the part itself or will I need to replace the entire pedal unit?

looking at the pet system it doesent show any spare parts just a pedal..but my system only showing upto 2000 year car....with cable throttle yours will probably be later and electronic throttle so really am none the wiser ..

Just glue the accelerator pedal to the floor.... problem solved!

It is a 2000 model, so do you think I need to buy the entire unit.

I think so looking at the pet system...but just check with your friendly opc..

get them to fax a picture of the pedal assembly over.

cable or wire type its a complete assembly,they do break.
