Just wondered as an interested onlooker nerd which would be faster,.... acceleration, pick up and top speed......scratchchin

A V8 4.2/4.5 Cerbera or a speed six engined 4.0 Sagaris.????

Let battle commence.....

The question should be

what colour Cerbs and Saggies are fastest because everyone knows the colour is the most important thing hehe

they are both fooking fantastic! And as BossCerbera keeps proving it is in fact more dependant on who is driving rather than inherently how fast or powerful the car is.

Straight line - 'Healthy' Cerb 4.5
Round the bends - Saggy has the better suspension setup. (IMO of course)

On a circuit Phil? The Cerb would out handle the saggy too? (Assuming both are stock).

Quite frankly - all TVR's are mind blowingly fast.

It always come down to the Driver.

I'd go with this. What you really need is a Sag with a fettled AJP8 fitted.

The thread title is Which is faster? The Sagaris hits an aerodynamic brick wall at about 145 and crawls - relatively - beyond that. The Cerbera doesn't.

Around - say - Spa/Silverstone GP, I fancy the Cerbera 4.5. Around - say - Anglesey or Lydden, I fancy the Sagaris.

Yeah, but some of us know ways of removing that wall and provide downforce Phil Or are we not allowed to "cheat" on this one?

This being the case for the Sag, shouldn't the debate be opened up to include Tuscan S's and RR T350's. Am I correct in thinking that the only model TVR ever put in a wind tunnel and fed this back into its design was the T350 ?.
