All depends so much on the drivers. Here's a story:
My mate bought my lemon of a Cerbie and took it to the Nurburgring on a public weekend. He can drive about as well as I can dance and hence pootled around at a safe, comfortable speed whilst thoroughly enjoying himself. No harm done, everyone's a winner.
Great, except after that weekend, the Ringers forum was full of people boasting about how they overtook / got passed / whipped the arse of a stunning looking and sounding Cerbera.
Well.. it made them feel happy!

The tt was pulling ahead whenever it had the space.
As for the 997 GT3RS, the only way a cerb could pass one on track is if the stig drove the cerb and my grandmother (who is dead) was driving the RS.

Yep, must have been the owner's three year old daugther driving the RS...
I've posted on the other thread, so wont bother repeating myself here, but dont underestimate the pace of this particular Cerbera and driver combination.
Anyone else had thier eye on the orange RS in the distance in the vids? It seemed to be shifting nicely... I would like to have seen if the Cerb caught up with it later on, seemed to make a better job of trackwork than the modified turbo.

I've got an TTX50 with the standard 450Bhp and have loads of mates with RR Cerbies
and I know for a fact that a 700 BHP TT would pull more than a few lenghs on that Cerb anyday.
But hats off to the Cerb driver he could handled a cerb much better than I could when I had my 4.5 Cerbera.

The old Alzten 996 Turbo had about 700bhp.
....and that thing moved! The 911 didn't move that fast!
It makes a brief apprearance in this video.

You still going to convert it to 2WD Phil? and I know for a fact that a 700 BHP TT would pull more than a few lenghs on that Cerb anyday.
