Has anyone got digital photos of any of the Sporting Bears Dream Rides events from over the years

The first Sporting Bears Dream Rides event took place with fifteen cars at the NEC Classic & Sportscar Show in May 1994

We seem to have been too busy taking passengers photos and raising money for children's chariities to have taken many for our own use

If you have photos and you want to share them thro' PH and/or the Bears web site or set up a link to your web site please contact me

autofocus has already been kind enough to share his photos of Kimbolton 2006, thank you

Thank you, Nigel

Past SPORTING BEARS DREAM RIDES events:

Hi, nothing in Kent this year, the NEC is the only major event we do the others are smaller or local (to others) events

Not had time for list yet, but a couple of links one about rides the other about the club, we don't just do rides

Hope this is of some use for now (also see PH Calendar)

Thanks, Nigel PS your car would go well on the rides!

Nick
Thanks for your offer
We tried the rides at Alley Palley one year but the traffic and speed bumps ruled it out for the future (especially if the local football team is playing at home)
Don't think we'll get back in with Brooklands now Mercedes-Benz have such a big interest in the site
Altho' you never know for certain where next - we've been invited to a couple of horse events this year, we had a low key attendance at Blenheim Horse trials last year (forgot that one must add it to the list)
Thanks, Nigel

Thanks James, it's the same with the club

We have some interesting photos from past years but they're actual paper photos

I don't think I've posted this in the right forum so I'll try elsewhere later

By the way try the links as we're updating as info comes in and take a look at autofocus's links

Thanks, Nigel

If you put together a selection of say 50 or so of the best, you can pass them onto Andy (Mr Sheen). He can get them to me as we work together.
I'll then scan them for you and chuck them on a disc.

Come to think of it, he's probably got pic's anyway and needs a nudge over the this thread.

Cheers,
Steve

Steve, very kind of you to offer

I think we have enough Kimbolton photos of display car but still need more of the rest of the show and the rides

Need more photos of all Sporting Bears Dream Rides events

I had to look in the Members Directory to see who Andy Mr Sheen is - now it's obvious

I'll email and ask if he has any photos, thanks for the idea

If you work with him see if he remembers me at one Kimbolton suggesting he puts his V8S up for rides - he went so pale - he might remember me as I had Colin Mitchell's silver and blue stripe V8S at the time (or I might have had J66 TVR red Griff 4.3)

I think he may have mentioned that - now what did he call you scratchchin

Only joking.

I have given him a nudge so should be along shortly, I'm almost sure he may have some NEC pics I've seen.

Thanks again Steve

I've emailed Mr Sheen thro PH profile

Having just read my previuos posting I see I've typed it wrong

I meant to say we now have pleanty of photos of the cars at the show (will edit) but we still need photos of Kimbolton rides and ALL OTHER Sporting Bears Dream Rides

I asked Mr Sheen to have a word with you so you can see if he remembers me and what I said

Thanks, Nigel
