LHD Headlamps?
Discussion
I need to get some left hand drive headlamps for my 97 cooper, as we now live in Germany.
I've seen numerous different styles of lamps, at hugely varying prices.
Obviously I need to buy the specific motorised levelling ones to be correct, but seeing as thats a pretty useless function, and they seem to be considerably more expensive, which others, if any, would fit?
Thanks,
Joe.

the golf/polo lights fit from memory but you have to cut some brackets off the back of them
Yes I'd heard that too, I tried it a while ago.......don't bother it's a job creation scheme, total waste of time and they still don't fit properly!

I can get hold of brand new ones no problem, my point is that I don't want to spend about 5 times more than I have to just to get the specific 'Twin Point' ones.
For example, there are Quadoptics, H4s, Wipac, Cibies, Lucas, etc, etc, will they all fit?
Its just that I can't see the three screw plates on alot of the pictures.
Which ones are not worth bothering with?
Thanks.

Düsseldorf isn´t that far, right
In Düsseldorf there is a Limora-shop at the Meilenwerk they should have the parts you need.
Just 5 minutes walking for my home there is an other specialist for mini-parts, called Kischka.
