The version 2007 of the site has just opened, and... there's a news, be it good or bad, I don't know for the moment.

You may remember that at some point, there was an announcement about TVR being present at this motorshow this year.

Thing is TVR actually appears in the exhibitors list as you can see here
www.salon-auto.ch./en/exposants/details.php?ident=695
you can find it by entering "TVR" in the search engine on this page
www.salon-auto.ch./en/exposants/

The strange side of this is there's no stand number allocated... it's written "XX"

A few things come to mind like maybe TVR was inscribed on the list, and then, canceled, but as the site was launched 3 days ago, I'd think the data is up to date and accurate. So maybe there is only a problem of room management, and they are going to be put with another brand on the same stand.

I checked this only a few minutes ago, so now Palexpo (place where the motorshow is held) is closed, but I'll try to go there on monday and have some details.

I think there's a fairly innocent explanation behind this. The original stand allocated was undoubtedly in a typical 'normal height' exhibition area.

With all these pigs soaring around the stand they'll no doubt have had to request a stand in a hall with extra headroom. Health and safety these days wouldn't allow the little porkers to bang their heads on the ceiling.

although I did, it was only for a bit less than 2 years, and it was in a special department (reinsurance, in a big insurance company) where you couldn't allow to have incorrect data (banks and big contracts implied). But as the deadline was every end of the month, at least we had some time for corrections...

And... you know... swiss precision...

There is a phone number for TVR on the website. Just give them a ring and ask if they will be there. As UK potential customers travelling to Chocolateland to see their new models surely they will offer you VIP hospitality

You don't even have to ring up - send an email to a.sanchiz@tvr.co.uk who's the contact person listed on the Exhibition website

The tvr.co.uk domain is registered to TVR Engineering Ltd ....therefore Blackpool Automotive and therefore PKF (UK).

Today, I talked with a friend's relative who is exhibitor for SEAT every year at the show, and he told me that the definitive list will be known only at the end of february ; till then, it could evolve...
Sorry, was hoping to bring less uncertain news...
Nonetheless, I'll go there on monday, and will try to see if the presence of TVR is considered as fully confirmed, or not.
