Fire supression system?
Discussion
I fitted a Zero 2000 electric system in my GTR, this is foam based (propably containing some water). Have a look at www.lifeline-fire.co.uk/fireextinguisher/electricalsystems.htm for more details. I too have not used mine, yet, the down side is you should get them refilled after the expiry date (doh).
I fitted one of these behind the passenger seat

I used the slim line mechanical 4 liter version, MFM400-A-SL, which has plumbing for 3 cockpit and 3 cabin nozzles, you can get spares and extra hoses etc if you need them as well.
The spa guy did stress, that even a big bottle like that is only going to slow down a serious fire, i.e. you'll have more time to get out...
Oh, and make sure you take the seat out first, as it's an hard job otherwise, just ask me how I know...
