storing old photos
Discussion
I've just spent the day scaning and saving some old photos that my grandfather took in the 30's (he was a professional photographer on a cruise ship!) I would now like to make sure that the originals last as long as possible. Up to now the prints and a few negatives have been stored in an old Kodak photo paper box (I suspect they were printed in the 50's although the negs date back to the mid thirties). I was thinking a tupperware with a silica gel pack might be more preservative - any hints would be useful
