I have had a vehicle through my workshop today for a checkover for track use and replace a interior component and damm this car is one of the most looked after 911's ive seen and worked on.

If this is the standard of vehicles he buys in or turns out then he is one top trader....hope all are as good as this example.

W reg 996 cabriolet silver with 62k on clock had new wngine at 54k...

Top man

Nervous, you appear to be confusing this forum with the Pie and Piston.

Is there an unwritten rule on here that the complementing of a good service is prohibited? if so why? Should this site be one that just reports gloom and doom?

My goodness.

We have a no naming and shaming rule for legal reasons. Since no-one is likely to object to having their quality service publicised there is no such ban on naming and praising.

Instead there are voids where no-one says anything good. These speak volumes.

Frankly in the future I am very likely to consider Henry's services. Not least because he is willing to raise his head above the parapet on here. I wish more Porsche independents contributed. I like to formulate an opinion prior to spending my cash...and the debate on here seriously assists that.

you cant see that theres a difference between individuals posting about good service and companies in shared markets doing so?

In the same way as the diesel ad goes "Hate something, change something, make something better."

I say "Can great be crap?"

Of course, but if you take him at his word they have never met. With seemingly no mutual business interest what has he to gain?

Before this thread descends into the realm of bonkersness, I'd just like to state that I genuinely think he has a great business.

I hear lots of good stuff about it, and my own theory is that this is why he is doing well. It's something that's quite rare these days. Certainly there's not a call centre in sight.

I must be honest and say that I have seen criticisim in this forum, but it is vastly outweighed by the positive responses, and the clear statements of sense that Henry himself posts.

Overall I have no direct experience of Henry's service, but his presence in the world is the reason for my own forray into the world of Porsche. Like all things, it's been highs and lows, but for reference I'd certainly do it again.

See ya then

Threads like these are equally as useful as the 'my cars warranty is worth sh*t'. If you don't like them, don't read and certainly don't waste the effort of telling us.
