Just a quick post. Hope all of you enjoyed yourselves we certainly did! It was a real good turn out, and the cars looked awesome all together.
Hope to see you all again soon.

Nice to meet a few new owners and put faces to names (and a couple of tasty vipers), really enjoyed the day it just went to quick roll on the next meet, warmer weather hopefully.

Great day, thanks too everyone who came and made the day so special. Nice to meet the new faces on the UK Viper seen too; and all the cars looked, sounded, were WONDERFUL. Hope you all had a good journey home.

(Not such a great day for the Suburau WRX who kept trying to goad me into a race on the way home, I really couldn't be bothered, and traffic was busy, but in the end a clear road begged for him to be cruised by, shame his motor blew in clouds of smoke trying to fend me off as I passed under medium throttle).

I BIG thanks to Terry (?) from Cornwall for resolving my remote valet mode from the key fob. The manual and the dealer that fitted it said it was one combination of buttons - I couldn't get it to work. Terry said it should be a different combination and that worked. Makes it so much easier!

Low loader coming tomorrow to take the Viper in for the recall work. Wish me luck!

I called the dealer yesterday for an update. Apparently they found some hairline cracks in a chassis component which has now been replaced (will get details exactly which part later). Not one of the warranty components, but the recall notice advised checking all parts and replacing any with defects. They are now checking the diff. If all OK and no more cracks, they say it should be ready this weekend. I'll then find out more what exactly was done. They said it's taking them a while, but their best man is on it and not proving too difficult, just time consuming. I'll keep you updated.
